Refund Policy

This policy covers refunds for Rekonify subscriptions, whether purchased through the Mac App Store or directly from rekonify.org.

1. Purchases via rekonify.org (Paddle)

Subscriptions purchased directly from our website are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, tax, and payment processing on our behalf.

  • You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal.
  • To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number or the email address used at checkout.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • Once a refund is processed, your subscription will be cancelled and access to the app will end immediately.
  • Paddle may also process refund requests submitted directly through their receipt emails.

2. Purchases via the Mac App Store

If you purchased your subscription through the Mac App Store, Apple handles all billing and refunds. We do not have access to your App Store payment information.

  • To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
  • Apple reviews refund requests according to their own policies.

3. What Happens After a Refund

  • Your subscription is cancelled and will not renew.
  • Access to the app is revoked once the refund is processed.
  • Your Apple ID sign-in and account data are not affected — only the subscription is removed.

4. Cancellation Without Refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time without requesting a refund. If you cancel:

  • For website purchases: manage your subscription through the link in your Paddle receipt email, or contact us at [email protected]. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
  • For App Store purchases: cancel through System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
